Philippe Lazare is Director and member of the Audit and Risks Committee of Bureau Veritas, Chairman of the Strategic and Supervisory Committee of Normandy Hadrontherapy, a member the French High Committee for Corporate Governance, and is a thoroughbred breeder in partnership with the famed Haras des Capucines.
From 2007 to 2018, Philippe served as Chairman and CEO of Ingenico, during which time the share price grew almost ten-fold, and the company went from sales of 500 million Euros to over 500 million Euros of EBITDA, while undergoing a major strategic refocus.
From 2003 to 2007, he served as COO and member of the Executive Committee of the French Postal Services, where he was in charge of all postal offices, purchasing and real estate for the group.
From 2000 to 2002, Philippe served as CEO of the Franco-British Eurotunnel Group (now Getlink), where he spearheaded a major refinancing effort that involved negotiations with both governments, lenders, merchant banks and investors. Previously (1998 to 2000), he was the CEO of the Groupe Barrière, one of the leading luxury hotels and casinos groups in Europe.
From 1994 to 1998, he was Deputy-CEO of the Air France Group, with overall responsibility for Air France Industry, Air France Maintenance and Servair. From 1990 to 1994, Philippe was the head of a Sextant Avionique’s industrial site.
Philippe started his carrier at PSA (which merged in 2019 with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to create Stellantis), where he worked in the Purchasing Department. Philippe is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-La Défense.
